By signing up now you can save time, money and hassle should your phone be lost, stolen or accidently damaged. How do I enroll?

You can enroll in the program at anytime. A fee of $5.99 will be added to your monthly bill. Simply call (866) 240-8121 or visit a Cellular One retail store near you.

When am I covered?

To be eligible for coverage immediately, purchase the Program at the same time you purchase your new handset from Cellular One of East Texas (Point of Sale). If you select coverage after the Point of Sale, no claims may be made under the Program for thirty (30) days following purchase of coverage. Please note, your handset must be operational at the time of Program activation in order to enroll.

What’s covered?

The program covers the handset (device, standard battery & wall charger) you purchased from Cellular One of East Texas from accidental damage, loss, theft and malfunction (after the manufacturer’s warranty expires). Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage to equipment is not covered.

How do I Report a Claim?

1. Call Cellular One of East Texas Customer Care

If your handset was lost or stolen, call Cellular One of East Texas Customer Care at (866) 240-8121 to suspend your service and protect yourself against unauthorized use of your account. If your handset was stolen, file a police report where the theft occurred. This report number may be required to process your claim.

2. Call eSecuritel

In the case of accidental damage, loss, theft or malfunction (after the manufacturer’s warranty expires), call eSecuritel’s Customer Care Center at (877) 778-6661. Claims must be reported within 60 days of the incident and proof of loss and/or ownership must be provided, if requested. Only the account holder may file the claim.

Please have the following information ready:

• Your wireless phone number
• The account holder’s billing address
• Wireless phone manufacturer/model and unique serial number also called an ESN or IMEI
• Date, time, location and detailed description of the incident
• Police report number (if theft occurred)

3. Pay Deductible & Receive Handset

If your claim is approved, you will be directed to a participating Cellular One of East Texas location to pick up your replacement handset within 60 days. A deductible will be collected based on the make and model of the handsets. Handsets with a retail value below $199 will have a deductible of $40. Handsets with a retail value $200 and greater will have a deductible of $75 (please visit: celloneet.esecuritel.com for handset model specific information). Please keep the receipt, original box, manual and all packaging materials for warranty purposes.

What are the Insurance claim limits?

$1,000.00 per Named Insured or a maximum of two (2) equivalent replacements (whichever comes first) will be permitted in each consecutive twelve (12) month period beginning with the date of the first loss.

What is the deductible?

Your deductible will be based on the make and model of the handset for which you make a claim, either $40 or $75 depending on the value of the handset. Please consult the Deductible Schedule by visiting celloneet.esecuritel.com for handset model specific information. The deductible must be paid before you receive your replacement phone.

I pay the premium every month, so why do I have to pay a deductible?

Here’s an easy way to think about it. Wireless handset protection works in much the same way as auto insurance. The low monthly premium serves as your enrollment payment. Then, when you need to use your insurance to obtain a replacement, a fixed payment, called a deductible, is required. Your deductible amount is proportional to the full retail value of your phone and therefore much less. This is how you end up saving in the long run.

• You are not required to purchase insurance to activate wireless service. This coverage may provide a duplicate of other sources of coverage. You may cancel at anytime.
• The Program is a replacement service provided to subscribers of Cellular One of East Texas. This coverage is being provided by the New Hampshire Insurance Company, through eSecuritel Agency, LLC and is administered by eSecuritel Holdings, LLC.
